Paroma Banerjee, who is currently anchoring Colors Bangla's Rojgere Ginni, says that although now she loves wearing sarees but earlier she used to stay away from it.

Remembering her old days, Paroma said to Tellychakkar.com, “There was a time when if a particular episode of Rojgere Ginni required me to wear a saree, the team literally had to coax me.”

“And back then, I had no sarees. So, I had to depend on my mother’s collection. I had one white and one black blouse. And they were ready made. Any saree I would wear either with the white blouse or black blouse,” she added.

Well, there was another problem! And what’s that?

Paroma quipped, “I loved bright and loud colours and so my mother’s saree collection, which was simple, looked drab to me.”

But as they say, time changes!

Now the Bong beauty not only loves sarees but also thinks that her mother’s collection is elegant.

Parama said, “It has been a few years that I fell in love with sarees. Also, now I feel that my mother’s collection is actually good and graceful. Actually, after a certain age, I realized that this is one of the graceful attires.”

“One can wear it at any formal occasion without asking herself that am I dressed rightly for the occasion,” she signed off.

Well said, lady!
