Oh No! Ajay Nagrath of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 fame meets with an accident; says that it’s his fault
MUMBAI: Actor Ajay Nagrath, known for his role in the TV drama Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, recently met with a bike accident. Reports say that he was hit from behind by car, and he got thrown off his bike at that moment. He ended up getting badly bruised. This incident happened while the actor was on his way to Model Town in Andheri, Mumbai, where he was headed for a shoot.
Later when the actor was contacted, Ajay confirmed and said that he was shaken by the accident. "Actually, I was driving on the right side and suddenly I remembered that I had to take a left turn. A car was coming from behind to my left. The car hit the bike and off I went."
Ajay specifically pointed out that the accident was his fault and that the car driver should not be blamed. "There is no fracture. But I have yet to get a full body MRI done. I have had too many bruises; the body is paining a lot. It was scary. Thank God I was wearing a helmet; the helmet too has got badly damaged."
Ajay has been off the shoot of the Ekta Kapoor show since the accident, except for one day where he was urgently required for him to be present in a couple of scenes. "Ekta ma'am has been very kind and considerate. I went for just a few hours on one day and I have been given all the time to recover."
When he was asked to let the bike go and to invest in a car instead, he said, "But it is impossible to reach in time anywhere in Mumbai nowadays. There is so much construction work going on. I don't think I have an option. Near Film City where my shoot takes place, there's invariably a 30-minute traffic jam every day. Kaise pahuchunga time pe?" he concluded.
