Model and actor Karan Singh Chhabra seems to be a rare gem, given his extremely hot and flamboyant turbaned look. Well, in an era where the new trend in fashion and media industry keeps changing for the better, and with turbaned models gaining an upper hand in New York Fashion Week and brands of Jean Paul Gautier and Louis Vuitton and Gaps, Karan seems to be certainly in demand. Karan who has been so far noticed in shows like Raavee, Savdhan India, Lage Raho Chachu, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Twist Wala Love, is looking for one great role in the TV industry which will take him to the next level as an actor. Having been a model from the year 2007, and after having worked for renowned names like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Karan is a finest example of being one of the rare Sardar models to have walked the ramp. Now, Karan wants to knock on the doors of TV shows, keeping his simplicity and of course, his turbaned look intact. Claims Karan, “When a Lola Kutty and VJ Andy can create a storm by retaining their uniqueness in terms of look, why cannot a Sardar like me entertain one and all and boost up the TRPs for being so very realistic? Aah, there are so many shows with a Punjabi backdrop happening on TV today. We have Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera and even the fabulously etched Punjabi khandaan in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. I would say that one can play different kind of roles by wearing a turban also. I would want to be the one who would set a classic example for many to follow.” With sheer confidence, and certainly not over-confidence stemming out of him, Karan says, “My sardar look and versatility as an actor can certainly catch eye-balls, and add to the TRPs of a show.” Well, we really hope Producers make note of this fine actor and his words!!
