Our responsibilities towards our show Dil Dosti Dance have increased, says Shantanu Maheshwari

Dil Dostii Dance, the youth based show, produced by Cinevistaas Limited on Channel V won the award for the Best Youth Show – Fiction at the 11th Indian Telly Awards held recently. Few in the cast along with Producer Siddharth P Malhotra went on stage to collect the coveted award. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Shantanu Maheshwari, who essays the role of Swayam in the show, on the joyous atmosphere prevailing within the team post receiving the award. “It’s an amazing feeling to be amongst the award winners at the Indian Telly Awards. We have been working really hard and it looks as though our hard work is paying off. The entire cast and crew is rejoicing at the moment. When we actors started working on Dil Dostii Dance, we were nowhere. The concept was new and was an experimental project on a channel like V. And today, we have come a long way to be among the awardees. This only means that our responsibilities towards the show have increased. It is a great feeling to be sitting along with the big stars of the industry, and to get an award and walk up the stage along with our producer was indeed an icing on the cake. Dil Dostii Dance has changed our lives, and this is the second award that D3 has received for being the Best Youth Show”, stated Shantanu. Kudos to the entire team of Dil Dostii Dance.
