Pallavi Subhash back with Godh Bharai

Pallavi Subhash who was last seen in Basera will play the lead in Sony’s upcoming Godh Bharai. The show produced by Sphere Origins will see Pallavi playing a childless woman. The show is expected to go on air sometime in March and the rest of the star cast is yet to be finalized. Only Pallavi is on board and even she was roped in at the last minute after producers failed to zero down on a new face. The show will see Pallavi being taunted by her family and the society. A source informs, “It is based on a social and sensitive issue of woman who can’t reproduce and how these women are looked down upon in this society. Pallavi who plays a childless woman is not invited for any social occasion and is nearly ostracised. The producers were looking for a new face to play the lead and auditions were on since a long time, but in vain.” The source adds, “Pallavi was finalized almost at the last minute. The other stars are yet to be cast.” Sunjoy Wadhwa from Sphere Origins and Pallavi remained unavailable for comments.
