Pawan Malhotra And Shahid Kapoor
Pavan Malhotra, who has been playing the role of a bad cop in Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors for nearly two years now, is also known for his good equation with Pankaj Kapoor's family, thanks to the fact that both enjoy doing theatre. In fact, he has seen Shahid Kapoor grow from a kid to the star that he is today. When we spoke to Pavan, he revealed that Sasha (that's what he calls Shahid Kapoor) is a gem of person and has no airs about his celebrity status and also that they share a great chemistry. "Shahid finds our friendship quite amusing as I also share a great rapport with his parents. When he told me this I just laughed," said Pavan with a smile. On the work front, he is optimistic about his role in Swastik Productions' short film for Sab Kya Hoga Is Desh Ka. He plays a funny character Mr Khanna opposite Delnaaz Paul. "Viewers will get to watch me doing comedy and I am hopeful this will help change the perception about me. People think that I am very serious in real life, but I am very versatile," he says referring to his role in the short movie. Pavan was highly appreciated for his role of Tiger Memon in the movie Black Friday, and has even won a Telugu Filmfare award for his portrayal of the character Irfan Khan in Aithe Pawan. With a career span covering more than two decades he will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's Don 2 and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag along with Farhan Akhtar.
