Tellychakkar is back to update the latest development from Life OK’s upcoming show Shatranj produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms.
We had earlier exclusively reported about TV actor Bhanu Uday roped in to play the lead character in the show.
According to our sources, Shatranj’s storyline will be on the lines of Bollywood flick Virasat that starred Anil Kapoor, Pooja Batra and Tabu.
The political drama stars Yeh Vaada Raha fame Sonal Vengurlekar and talented actor Akshay Anandd.
Now, we came to know, TV actors Pawan Mahendru (Ek Tha Raja) and Eva Ahuja (Hamari Devrani) have joined the cast.
Eva will play Akshay’s wife while Pawan is roped in to portray one of the female lead's father.
Pawan confirmed the news and Eva remained unavailable to comment.
