A phone with a better battery life is a blessing: Karan Kundra

Smartphones!!!

Ever imagined a life without yours? Simply put, it will be mundane and banal to the core.

Smartphones are more than a mere device now. They are an extension of your personality.

You connect, surf, download, socialise and what not...all thanks to your smartphone.

However, one perennial issue which we all face is the constant ‘battery-drain’. How many times have you wanted to make that super-important call but all you could do is look at your phone’s dead blank screen?

That moment is quite apocalyptic!!!

And guess what? Your favourite celebs also face the same concern.

“My phone is my life. For me, it’s very important to stay connected and updated. I honestly believe that my smartphone is my lifeline.” says the dashing Karan Kundra.

Karan, a youth icon with millions of global fans and social media followers, mesmerised audiences with his impeccable performances in shows like Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum and Roadies.

With credible work background, Karan is one of the most successful actors in today’s time. Some of his notable works include Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Fanaa, Gumrah on the small screen and movies like Horror Story, Pure Punjabi and Jatt Romantic among others.

Quite the tech-enthusiast, Karan further adds: “I read a lot on my phone and constantly engage with my fans. Which is why my battery drains really quickly. I wish there was a solution to it.”

Does he face ‘battery dying’ issue in day-to-day life as well? “All the time (laughs). I feel like I should keep my phone on charging all day.”

We asked if he could recall a scenario when he called someone and their phone battery died – what kind of thoughts popped up in his head? “When I was young and my girl’s phone was unreachable, I used to think she must have been partying with someone else (smiles). When you are young you tend to imagine all kind of things.”

Continues after a pause...

“Even today, if I can’t reach Anusha (Dandekar, VJ/actress) I definitely get worried and think about her well-being. Next I reach out to her manager, or support staff or driver to get through to her. Having said that, battery dying is really annoying,”

So would it be nice if phone’s battery lasted longer? “Certainly, it would be wonderful. In fact, it would be a blessing.”

We’re sure that all smartphone users would agree with Karan over the need for a longer battery life. Luckily, Gionee has launched the Marathon M5 Plus, a phone with a 5020 mAh battery that lasts for 4 days without a charge. For more information, click here.
