Piyali Munshi and kids Neelanshi Singh, Swapnil Gada and Afreen Khan to enter Zee TV's Buddha

Zee TV’s Buddha (Spice Studios) is all set to witness a few new entries with Buddha (Himanshu Soni) having moved out of his kingdom. In the upcoming episodes, Buddha will reach a village where he will start meditating and decide on having no food or water to achieve nirvana. This will make his body fragile. During this time a village girl will walk up to him and ask him to stay healthy to achieve Nirvana. Thus, Buddha will decide on preaching the children of the village. The character of this girl named Sujata will be essayed by Piyali Munshi of Durga fame. And the three little village kids will be essayed by Neelanshi Singh (last seen as the younger Zoya in Qubool Hai), Swapnil Gada (Crime Patrol /CID) and Afreen Khan (essayed younger Sati in Mahadev). Piyali confirmed her entry and said, “It’s a very interesting character. This girl plays a very important part in Buddha’s life.” When asked why she opted for a spiritual show, she averred, “It’s because they have wonderful characters and you can’t play them in real life.” Neelanshi’s dad too confirmed her entry. We couldn’t get through to Swapnil and Afreen. The shooting for the track has begun and it will air sometime soon.
