Pooja Gor stays on, new entries in Jubilee Comedy Circus!

TellyChakkar had earlier reported about Sony’s Jubilee Comedy Circus. Pooja Gor who was paired with Rajeev Thakur had backed out of the show but now the news is that she will stay on the show. Two new jodis; Shikha Singh and Kapil Sharma along with Anand Goradia of Na Aana Iss Des Laado and Chandan (stand- up artist) have also joined the cast of the show. Pooja Gor had opted out of the show at the last moment due to a lot of issues. It is said that both the channel(Sony) and the production house(Optymistix) were upset with the actress for the same. States a source, “Pooja was keen on doing the show but it is heard that the channel(Star Plus) raised some objections. The actress had already informed her decision to do the comedy show but things were not sorted out. As she plays Pratigya which is a strong character and so her being a part of Comedy Circus might dampen her Pratigya image.” Another source adds, “Sony is trying to put off the fire by finding some solution. Things look a bit better now and so Pooja will again be seen in the show, as the issue seems to be resolved now.” Says Pooja, “Whatever the mess was, is now sorted and I am doing the show now, is just what I want to say.” Sanjeev Sharma, from Optymistix says, “I don't know much about the issue, she is fulfilling her part of the job and we are happy with it.” A channel source clarifies, "We don’t have any problems with Pooja, whatever small issues it were, everything is sorted.” Shikha Singh also confirmed her presence in the show. Says Shikha, “Yes, I am doing comedy for the first time and excited about it. But I don’t have any idea about Pooja's issue, so I can’t say anything.”
