When the entire nation is celebrating the cute sibling bond on Raksha Bandhan in style, can the television medium be left behind?
The answer is a big ‘No’…So here comes the popular GECs with its plan of action.
Talking about Raksha Bandhan, the first show that comes to our mind is Ek Veer Ki Ardaas– Veera on Star Plus. This unique tale of a brother and sister as we know, has already aired its Rakhi celebration. Same will be the case with Diya Aur Baati Hum and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain wherein Rakhi will be celebrated in style.
On Colors, Sanskaar and Balika Vadhu will be celebrating this event in their upcoming episodes while Uttaran and Sasural Simar Ka have already featured their rakhi episodes.
Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke will witness huge drama during Rakhi celebration as Rachna (Mahima Makwana) ties rakhi to Mayank (Ankit Gera). On the other hand Chhanchhan will witness a sweet sister brother bonding between Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) and Rugved (Srman Jain) on Sony TV.
CID won’t have a sister brother bonding on Rakhi, but they will telecast a crime story revolving around them.
Furthermore, Life OK will experience a love story developing between Raghu (Ayaz Ahmed) and Antara (Nikita Sharma) even on Rakhi as our hero will help the heroine purchase rakhi for her brother Ishaan in Do Dil Ek… Jaan.
SAB TV’s Chidiyaghar is all set to have a Rakhi special episode tonight (20 August 2013). And SAB TV’s numero uno show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will also have Dayaben (Disha Vakhani) tying Rakhi to her on-screen and off-screen brother Sundar (Mayur Vakhani).
Sahara One’s Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga will witness a cute rakhi celebration of Angana’s (Aleeza Khan) little daughter Khushi.
Overall, viewers can look forward to sentimental yet entertaining Rakhi episodes in their favourite shows.
Have a great viewing, you TV buffs out there…
