Popular TV director passes away

The entire TV industry is in for a rude shock.

Popular and acclaimed director Naresh Khanna is no more.

The talented man passed away yesterday (8 August) succumbing to a heart attack.

Naresh, who has been part of various shows, gained acclamation for being the first director to direct a man (Rahill Azzam) as a woman in Babul Ka Aangan Choote Na.

The director has been instrumental in making films in Uttarakhand. He has hits like ?Chakkarchaal, ?Batwaru, ?Subero Gham and ?Bhully Aye Bhully to his credit.

As per information received, Naresh had a heart attack while he was travelling on a train from Delhi to Mumbai. Passengers reached out to him and he was rushed to AIIMS hospital in Delhi.

The man breathed his last in the hospital. His family has reached Delhi and his body will be brought back for the last rites.

When we spoke to Rahill, he said, “He was one of the most passionate directors who I have worked with. I am shocked to hear about his death. May he be granted peace. It is a tragic loss for the industry for sure.”
