MUMBAI: Star Bharat’s newly launched serial Durga-Mata Ki Chhaya will soon witness entry of a new actor in the show.
The show which is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms featuring Avinash Mishra, Chahat Pandey and Rakshanda Khan in the lead roles, will soon have talented actress Kamalika Guha making her way in the show.
Kamalika Guha, who is part of the television industry over decades now and is still re-called for the role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has joined the cast of Durga.
We hear that she will depict the role of a Jogmaya. She will be Damini's (Rakshanda) consultant, black magic performer and an evil soul.
Interestingly, after Kyunki, Kamalika and Rakshanda are re-uniting with Durga.
Kamalika, who was last seen in Santoshi Maa, remained unavailable for a comment.
Durga- Mata Ki Chhaya is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali serial Durga. The show also stars actors namely Sai Ballal, Mehul Buch, Sailesh Gulabani, Adi Irani and many more.
