Is Pratha under the I & B scanner?

After Bigg Boss 4 it’s yet another Colors show Rishton Se Badi Pratha that is reportedly been served a show-cause notice from the I&B Ministry. Talking of this a source says, “The I&B Ministry has sent a show-cause notice to the channel for showing excessive violence and cruelty on their show Rishton Se Badi Pratha. According to the Ministry the show has explicit scenes of torture being inflicted on a female character thereby degrading women. The scenes of violence they add are reportedly not suitable for children viewing. And, the Ministry wants an answer from the channel within seven days of receiving the notice. On, failure of which action will be taken against the channel under Section 20 of the Cable Act. The notice was issued on Wednesday.” However a channel spokesperson denies this and says, “We haven’t received any notice from the Ministry. Hence we cannot talk about it.” Producer Pearl Grey informs, “I just read an article about this but I haven’t received any notice from the Ministry nor has the channel informed me about anything. If there is any notice it will be the channel’s call. I am not aware of it and hence, cannot comment.”
