MTV Fanaah is a special show. It is being sculpted with lot of heart and hard work by the channel and of course, the makers (Lost Boy and BBC). A larger than life venture, it’s going to be a vampire saga, tentatively based on the international series The Vampire Diaries. And guess what? Television’s hottest and sexiest actor Karan Kundra will be seen playing the lead role. Giving him company as the female lead would be Ratan Rajpoot. Chetna Pande and Anita Hassanandani have also been roped in to add to the glam quotient. The show will hit airwaves on 21 July and this Saturday (28 June) its promo-expect an absolute visual treat –will be beamed for the viewers. And our industry sources informed us that the promo has been shot at the whopping price of Rs 45 lakh. ‘The first cut will depict the dangerous life of vampires and also throw a subtle hint of a vampire’s love affair with a human. It was shot in six different exotic locations in Mumbai over a period of three days,” shared a source. Commenting on the same, Vikas Gupta, Programming Head of MTV said, “This is the most expensive promo ever shot on MTV and the end result is so amazing that it was worth the money. The show will be promoted in such a high scale that it will break all boundaries of visual appeal.
