Ragini 'Jhalak' Khanna is on a roll

Beautiful and adorable Ragini Khanna, who has impressed one and all with her acting skills as Suhana in Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool (Ravi Ojha Productions), has just returned from a vacation to Dubai after her above successful show wrapped up. When we called up she said, "I had lots of fun. I needed this break to recharge my batteries after Sasural. I had a blast, shopped like crazy at all the malls, visited Burj Al Arab (world’s most luxurious hotel), Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world,) snow park, desert, Abu Dhabi mosque (one the world’s largest mosques) and Ferrari world (largest indoor theme park in the globe). " Wow...sounds great fun!!! Moving on, her fans will again get see her on tube as the host of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5. Her co host is Manish Paul. "An anchor job is very difficult for you have to bead everything together. If you are unable get the views of the contestants and the judges to the public then how the show will work. Spontaneity is very important. You have to follow the prompter but at the same time you have to think on your feet and improvise. Manish is great fun and he has lots of experience regarding anchoring." Incidentally,Ragini was a part (contestant) of the previous season of this dance reality show where celebs have to dance along with a professional dancer (Neerav Bavlecha was her partner). While Manish has hosted Dance India Dance Li'l Masters and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar before, this will be the first time that Ragini will anchor a reality show. Readers will remember this niece of Bollywood super star Govinda had first come on the small screen stage with Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi (Imagine TV) and then went on to do a completely different role in Bhaskar Bharti (Sony Entertainment Television) where she played a man caught in a woman’s body. In the reality format apart from Jhalak, Ragini has also taken part in Zee TV's celeb singing show Star Ya Rockstar as a contestant wherein she performed quite well. All the best…Ragini!!!
