Zee TV’s upcoming show Unsung Heroes has been waiting on the fringes for a while. Unfortunately, it will take more time before this show gets rolling. As a matter of fact, the shooting hasn’t commenced yet. To add to their woes, the shoot was further delayed when incessant rains in Vapi reportedly damaged the sets.
When contacted, Chandan Sawant, producer of the show, denied any such incident but did admit that the shoot is yet commence.
Contrary to Chandan’s take, an actor on condition of anonymity said, “The shoot still hasn’t commenced. I too had heard that a month back, a wall had collapsed on the sets. I was told that this resulted in loss of few lakh of rupees.”
Adds another actor, “Well, it’s just not a wall, what I’ve heard is that the entire sets collapsed due to the rains. At the moment, I have no idea when the shoot will commence.”
Innovative 9’s Unsung Heroes will depict stories of the forgotten heroes of Indian history. Siraj-ud-Daulah is the first hero in line to be depicted. Sharad Kelkar will play the character of Siraj-ud-Daulah.
