MUMBAI: Dipika Kakar's fans are beyond happy. For the uninitiated, Dipika is coming back with her hit supernatural drama - Sasural Simar Ka's second season and fans can't keep calm!
The actress announced by sharing a video on her Instagram. She said that Simar has always been alive in her for all these years and she is ready once again to win hearts.
She captioned the post as "Simar is a part of me that has always been alive in me for all these years & here today she is ready once again to make her way to our hearts... Are you ready... Let's create magic again @msrashmi2002_ ma'am @sonnalakakar @kshipradarekar & @colorstv.".
In an exclusive interview, Dipika opened up about her character and said, "This Simar will be more strong and have a lot of new shades. There will be new characters and chapters.".
When asked about returning to the show, Dipika said, "I have maintained that Simar is a part of me and will always be alive in me. I may have played the character for six years, but I continue to live it till date. People in my Sasural still address me as Simar.".
She further added that they connected with her because of the show. "Also, as an artiste, I have never thought that I won't go back to a show or down the same path.", added Dipika.
The actress further stated that she turned down a lot of shows during her break and then she got a call for Sasural. "That show has made me what I am today!", exclaimed Dipika.

Furthermore, when asked if Shoaib Ibrahim will be returning to the show or not, Dipika said she would love him to play Prem again but for now, she cannot comment on the same.
