It’s official now that Bollywood’s big daddy Yash Raj films has taken its first baby steps into television. They will be making both fiction and non fiction shows for Sony Television which TellyChakkar has been giving regular updates on. The latest we have heard is that they have signed Shruti Seth of Comedy Circus and Rakesh Bapat who was last seen in Ek Packet Umeed for one of their upcoming fiction shows. A source informs, “The show is yet untitled and will have both Shruti and Rakesh in key roles. It’s a weekly one hour thriller. The show will also see many new faces and Yash Raj has been auditioning to find fresh faces”. We called up Shruti Seth but she said, “I can’t talk about it”. While Rakesh chose not to answer any of our calls and messages. YRF is also producing a thriller show called Seven and it’s again a weekly one hour special show. The show has Shama Sikander and Bakul Thakkar in key roles along with many new faces. Seven is supposedly inspired from US TV drama Heroes wherein seven persons who have special powers get together to save the world.
