MUMBAI : Actress Rakhi Sawant had surgery lately to remove a tumor from her uterus, and now her ex-husband Ritesh Singh has posted a video of her walking after the surgery for the first time. Rakhi is shown in the video sobbing in pain and having trouble walking even with the hospital staff's help.
Rakhi's condition was updated by Ritesh on his Instagram account on Monday. He also told fans that she had walked for the first time after her May 18 surgery. Rakhi was taken to the hospital owing to pain in her abdomen, where a 10-centimeter tumor was found and needed to be removed right away.
Rakhi appears to be in severe pain as she tries to walk with help in the most recent hospital footage, which also shows her looking completely different after the surgery. The actor of Main Hoon Naa cried in the video as she found it difficult to walk.
She can be heard being told to stand straight and attempt to take baby steps without stressing by the doctors and Ritesh.
"Mai bahut khus hu, rakhi ji jaldi he hamare beech hongi. Aaj unko initial walk karte dekh acha laga. Thanks to god and Janta," Ritesh captioned the video.
The tumor was the size of a palm, and Ritesh had disclosed after Rakhi's successful operation that it had been sent to a lab for cancer analysis. In addition, he had said that he had fasted for the actress's health. Rakhi's mother passed away in 2023 following an extended battle with cancer.
