The pretty and vivacious Divyanka Tripathi has become the nation’s favourite with her portrayal as Ishita in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms & Star Plus).

Today on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the pretty actress gets talking about her relationship with her brother Aishwarya and her memories with this special day.

“The whole family used to gather at our dada ji and nana ji's place for rakhi celebration. We would make arrangements like lunch at dada ji's place with my paternal family and dinner at nana ji's place with maternal family. It was a special day for us as we got to cherish all our beautiful bonds that day,” said Divyanka.

Talking about her plans for the day, the lovely lady quipped, “Now that all of us are living in different cities, we are planning a get together in Mumbai. From here, we will be driving to other cities where my other cousins live and I will call my brother from Bhopal. It's an elaborate plan. All of us will have a nice outing for the first time. Till date, we had celebrated rakhi in Bhopal only. Since now we are grownups; working or studying out of station, we are getting together for a purpose and we all are very excited about it.”

When we quizzed her on any special gift that she had received, Divyanka said, “My brother gifted me a Barbie doll five years back. It was special because when I was a child, we weren't doing so well, so my parents couldn't buy me one although I was really fond of it. Now that my brother has grown up, he bought me the doll from his first ever pocket money because he wanted to see that happiness on my face.”
