Nikhil Sinha’s fantasy-based show Haatim for Life OK is in its making stages right now, and will get launched sometime in December 2013. Recently, we wrote about talented actor Chandan Anand essaying the role of the antagonist, Zargham on the show.
We now hear that yet another theatre artiste and film personality Krishna Singh Bisht will play an adorable character, that of Qasim in Haatim. Qasim will be a witty character who will provide comic relief in the show. He will be one character that kids will love to watch on screen.
Talking about the actor’s works, Krishna Singh Bisht is from Delhi’s ACT ONE theatre group of N.K. Sharma. He was recently seen essaying the role of Keshav, friend to Ranveer Singh in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Ramleela. The man has also acted in the movie Vicky Donor. Krishna has also shot for a short film Mombatti, directed by Puneet Prakash which got selected for the Cannes Film Festival recently.
In Haatim, produced by Triangle Films Company (makers of the ongoing mythological show on Life OK, Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev), Krishna will play Qasim who can do anything and everything for money. He does not hold any values as such, and will support and be with the one who offers his huge money. He is a master when it comes to playing his tricks. As the story moves on, Qasim will be the only one who can lead the protagonist Haatim to the main antagonist, Zargham. His look in the show will be somewhat similar to that of Jack Sparrow’s, (essayed by Johnny Depp) in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean.
When contacted, the talented actor Krishna told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am playing an integral role in the upcoming show Haatim. I took up this show as I get to play a challenging role, a character which is very different, yet realistic. I am presently enjoying shooting for Haatim.”
On his upcoming releases on the big screen, the actor who was recently seen in Ram Leela said, “I await the release of my films ‘Suleimaani Keeda’ directed by Amit Masulkar and ‘Dil Patang’ directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary.”
Get ready to see the comic man Qasim in Life OK’s upcoming offering, Haatim.
