Ram Shankar and parriwar eliminated

Reality shows are going in for some heavy duty filmy dramas. Last week’s episode on Warr Parriwar had contestant and judges coming down heavily on the veteran singer Ram Shankar. Not one to take the hard hitting comments lightly Ram retaliated with some equally sharp words. It was evident that the senior singer was not very popular with the other participants. But what was shocking was that even his niece Ekta who is part of his parriwar’ has been saying some not-so-nice about him. All the on-screen negativity has resulted in the family being eliminated from the show. A source from the production house discloses, “In today’s episode, Ram Shankar has opted out and will not perform. When it was his turn to perform only two from the family of three appeared on stage. It was his brother Pradeep and niece Ekta.” Elaborating on the incident our khabroo adds, “In the last episode Ram was very offended to see of what other participants thought about him and especially his own team mates talked about him. This was enough for Ram and he left leaving his team in the lurch.” “As soon as Ekta and Pradeep came on stage Urmila asked where Ram was and they said that he had left the show and even cursed both of us. Ekta was shattered when their name was announced at the elimination,” he chirps. What also went against Ram was that he had been rude with one of the judges in the show. “Yes, he was very rude to Jatinji in the last episode. Bappi Da was the guest of the evening and he persuaded Ram to perform on stage. This time the show totally went for a toss with Ram Shankar’s family getting the axe,” concludes our source. Ekta feels that it was her mamu’sbaddua (curse) that she has had to bid adieu to the stage. This is one reality show that reads like a saas bahu soap!
