MUMBAI: Television actress Rashami Desai has always been in the public eye, whether for her work or personal life. Her dynamic with the late Sidharth Shukla, her Dil Se Dil Tak co-star, was no exception.
While the two shared a strong on-screen chemistry, their real-life relationship was far more complicated.

She also admitted that there was a long period when they did not speak at all. “We went nine months without talking,” she revealed, hinting at the depth of their disagreements. However, she also shared that, despite everything, there was a sense of mutual respect between them.
Speaking candidly, Rashami revealed, ‘I’ve always been someone who helps others, and I found Sidharth to be just as kind and down-to-earth. However, as we worked together for two years, misunderstandings grew between us. There was a time when we didn’t speak for a long while, but eventually, we reconnected."
Despite their personal differences, they never let it affect their work. "The distance between us was so significant that even during romantic scenes, we barely communicated. Yet, we remained professional and delivered our best performances," she admitted.
Rashami also praised Sidharth’s talent and generosity, calling him an actor with a good heart. Reflecting on her own journey, she shared that 2018 was a particularly difficult year for her one filled with personal struggles and important lessons.
