Zee TV’s popular historical love drama Jodha Akbar has been enthralling viewers with its royal tales of the great Mughal family.
With the leap taking place sometime back, in addition to the love story of Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) and Akbar (Rajat Tokas), the plot of Salim (Ravi Bhatia) and Anarkali (Heena Parmar) too has taken force in the popular Balaji Telefilms show.
Although viewers have been loving the on screen (and off screen) chemistry of Ravi and Heena, we have been informed that auditions are on to get a new Salim in the coming days.

Shared a source, “A lot of expectations have been riding high on Ravi and with the makers not satisfied with his act, they have decided to get a new face to add spice and bring back the falling numbers. The creatives are planning a short leap, wherein Salim would age and thus a new face will take the stride further.”
