Actor Sujan Mukherjee, who is currently hosting the second edition of Aakash Aath’s popular children’s game show Lakhi Chana, says that it’s not so easy to shoot with children.
“On TV, the edited version looks very interesting but if one sees the shooting, either he/she will fall asleep or will go back to home. It’s not so easy to shoot with the children,” Sujan said.
Explaining the reason, he added, “One cannot bind the children in a particular time frame. While shooting some fall asleep, some feel like crying, some feel like laughing while some feel like peeing,…it’s very difficult to say whose mood will change to what ‘feeling’ at the next moment.”
The Mishar Rahasya, Aabar Byomkesh and Teen Yaari Katha fame actor also shared that he even once was slapped by a kid.
Remembering the incident, he said, “In the earlier edition, during shooting for one of the episodes, I had asked a kid to tell me that how his parent slaps him. Instead of explaining in words, he slapped me hard on my face. It was his way of explaining.”
“I am lucky that no one from the present lot has slapped me yet,” he said laughing out loud.
We too hope that you don’t get more live examples from the kids, Sujan!
