Reality shows are the best platform to scout talent - Hussain Kuwajerwala

The multi talented and good looking Hussain Kuwajerwala is back on the Indian Idol floor after a long gap. Back in time he became a sensation co hosting the above show with Mini Mathur and Mandira Bedi. This timr he will share the stage with Asha Negi on Sony Entertainment Television. Talking about his comeback to the series, Hussain quipped, “Indian Idol has always been very special as it has given me recognition. Although I haven’t hosted Junior before, it is definitely going to be enjoyable. The kids are lot more fun, unpredictable, have different energy and completely entertaining.” The actor who was busy with his play in Delhi has been on a break for more than two years, before appearing in Khatron Ke Khiladi. “The two years that I did Zangoora it has been super hectic, and that is why I wanted to take some time out for myself. Though it got a little longer, I was doing shows and that had got me going. I will soon be back on fiction space but I am really waiting for something really good.” When we asked Hussain, whether he will be bringing up a fresh take, he said, “As a person, I cannot change but with a new season with different people, things will definitely be something new. But right now I am really enjoying this feeling and that is more important for me.” Asha who mentioned that she is looking up to Hussain as a host, got him blushing and he said, “I have told her not to do that, as I don’t like people looking up to me. But thankfully having done Khatron... we have really bonded well and thus it is easier for us. It usually takes a lot of time to crack up a chemistry, but we already have it. Also Asha is anyways crack (laughs).” And finally talking about talent scouts in reality shows, Hussain favours them stating, “I have done events across the country and feel such shows really change many lives. There is so much talent in the villages and reality shows are the only way where they get a platform. If not for this, supreme talent dies a silent death.” Well said Hussian!
