MUMBAI: Republic Day holds immense significance in Indian history, as it marks the day our Constitution came into effect—January 26, 1950. This momentous occasion is celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor throughout the nation. Talking about the day, Zee TV actor Titiksha Shrivastava opened up about her childhood memories, the day’s significance in her life, and the activities she enjoyed during school celebrations.
Titiksha Shrivastava, who essays the role of Geeta in Zee TV’s Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah said, "For me, Republic Day is a time of deep reflection and gratitude. I fondly remember participating in school plays that depicted India’s freedom struggle, and those performances ignited my love for our country. One of my favorite childhood memories is decorating the school grounds with vibrant tricolor flags and ribbons—it was a sight to behold! This year, I plan to attend a flag-hoisting ceremony on set, followed by spending time with my co-actors, sharing sweets, and revisiting classic patriotic films that have always inspired me. Republic Day is a reminder of how far we’ve come as a nation and how much we can achieve when united. Jai Hind!”
