Actor Debottam Majumder is on cloud nine these days!

Well, his character on Star Jalsha’s Mayar Badhan has become quite popular among the audience.
When Tellychakkar.com contacted the actor, to get his comment on the same, he said, “It’s a very romantic character. According to the current track, my character, Riddhi, is upset with the heroine of the story. He shows his anger to her but then, even when he does that, it’s the love and affection that gets expressed.”
He further added, “People are enjoying the show and are eagerly waiting for them (hero and heroine) to unite. In a very short period, both Riddhi and Gunja (Jasmine Roy) have become popular.”
So, is Debottam romantic in real life too? Well, the actor nodded in positive and we asked if this side of him helps him to portray his character well. He said, “Well, it’s my responsibility to make my characters look believable. But yes, if you are romantic then it definitely helps to portray romantic characters convincingly.”
