Rishi Khurana has been part of the entertainment industry for nearly a decade now. And he has definitely kept his mind open all these years. This, you figure out when you meet him. And we at Tellychakkar.com got an opportunity to interact with this fabulous actor as he donned the mantle of Tellychakkar’s guest editor. And he is an extremely sorted person and highly intellectual, too.
Talking about his daily soap, he said he is enjoying being part of it. “The show is doing really well and I am happy that people love the series.”
“Though acting is my passion, I do not want to be involved in just any projects,” said Rishi to an enthusiastic TC team. Currently, he is seen playing the character of Ved Prakash Chaturvedi in Saas Bina Sasural aired on Sony Entertainment Television.
“If a role doesn’t have anything new to offer, that marks the death of the actor. Till the time, there’s excitement playing a character, the artist is happy. The moment stagnancy creeps in, the same role becomes a big turn off,” he shared.
Apart from other things, he believes it is important for a performer to struggle. “It is essential that you value whatever you have got. One tends to respect things that he or she has worked hard for. If you taste success early in your life, you tend to take things for granted. And then later on, you shy away from struggling.” Coming from an experienced actor like him, we value his comments a lot.
About the story he did as our guest editor, he spoke to good friend and ex colleague Keerti Gaekwad. (Do read the article)
“I like reading lots of fictional books,” he said about his interests apart from acting.
Overall, it was lovely to have an intellectual personality like Rishi on board. And with the huge smile, he had on his face while leaving, we are sure the admiration is mutual.
