MUMBAI: Priyank Sharma forayed into the entertainment industry with adventure-based most popular youth show Roadies and since then there has been no looking back for him.

The actor shared how Roadies gave him an identity. He told a media portal, "Roadies was the turning point in my life and Splitsvilla 10 was an add-on which I was offered by the channel. I am really fortunate about that. For me, I have seen my career. I was seeing the name and fame and the platform I will get through which people will recognise me when I want to put forth my work.”

He also spoke about how many people look down upon these reality shows. He said, “I know there are many people who make fun of these shows and look down upon them. I really came across an industry person, who made an inappropriate comment. I really feel people shouldn’t do that. It is a journey of us an individual. It is a journey of me and thousands other. There are so many people who have come up form reality shows. I am 27 right now and have done reality shows two-three years back. It is too early for people to pass any kind of judgements. I have no Godfather. I want to tell all those people that these kind of reality shows give us the platform where we get recognition and then we take our careers forward with our hardwork.”
