Roshni Parekh and Mehendi Jain
It seems that there is going to be a deluge of new shows launching on various channels the moment IPL season 5 will go off air. Now, alone Hats off Productions is busy with their three new offerings on different channels. Tellychakkar.com has already reported in details about their upcoming serial Alakshmi on Life OK. The show will see some renowned faces like Supriya Pathak, Anang Desai, Falguni Desai, Helly Shah and Sujay Reu. And to add more punch to the plot, Roshni Parekh aka Chutki of Ek Chutki Aasmaan fame and Mehendi Jain, who was last seen in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (Colors), have also been brought on board. Roshni will play the role of the female lead, Lakshmi’s (Helly Shah), cousin sister. As already written, the female lead will be an orphan and will be staying with her maternal uncle and aunt who will hate her. Roshni will be the only person in the family who will support Lakshmi and love her. On the other hand, Mehendi Jain will play the role Minni, Lakshmi’s close friend. She will be fun-loving and belong to Lakhmi’s gang of friends. When called up Roshni (who is currently seen in Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein on Zee TV), her sister, Upasana Parekh, answered the call and said, “Yes, Roshni is very much a part of the project. It is a very nice role.” Mehendi too confirmed the news but refused to divulge any detail.
