Roshni's long legs and short dresses get a break; Purbi Joshi to host Comedy Circus Maha Sangram

It's Purbi Joshi who will step into the shoes of Roshni Chopra as host of Comedy Circus- Maha Sangram. Roshni opted out of the show because she has other commitments. Roshni had committed earlier about hosting it but had to opt out at the last minute because of reasons best known to her. She informed the same to Optimystix. The channel then approached Purbi Joshi because Comedy Circus- Maha Sangram is similar on the lines of Kaante Ki Takkar and Purbi had hosted it. So the makers felt that she would be the best one to step in and Purbi agreed too. It is said that Jennifer Winget, who hosted Star One's Laughter Ke Phatke for the producers was also approached, but she refused. Winget however denied being approached for the show. Sanjiv Sharma from Optimystix says, "Roshni is fantastic as host and great to work with, but it's Purbi who is now hosting Maha Sangram. This season is on the lines of Kaante Ki Takkar which was fantastically hosted by Purbi. Hence she was approached for hosting Maha Sangram too."
