Is Sachin Tyagi the new man in Kashish's life?

There's going to be a new man in long suffering Kashish's life, we hear. Exit Sujal? Not really. It's just that Ekta Kapoor intends to introduce another son from the Deepak Parasher-Anju Mahendroo relationship. And the buzz is that the character Swayam who will take a fancy to Kashish, is the pony tailed Sachin Tyagi, who is currently playing Jay in Star One's Family Business. Balaji Telefilms has been talking to him about the role for the last few days. Tyagi has loved the role. The ball now rests in the money bank. We hear Sachin is however quoting a very high price to play Swayam. Sources also say that the figure is higher than the fees currently commanded by reigning star Rajeev Khandelwal! When contacted, Sachin however sounds modest, "See, I am a professional singer. If I do KTH which I would love to, I wouldn't be able to do as many shows as before. So, the role should compensate me monetarily in terms of the shows I'll be unable to perform in." Point taken, Mr Tyagi. From what we know, Balaji Telefilms is highly impressed with Tyagi's performance in the Hansal Mehta directed serial, which will see Sachin take over his grandfather's gangland empire after his death. Inspired loosely by Mario Puzo's Godfather, Dara Singh plays the character etched admirably by Marlon Brando. By zeroing in on Sachin for playing Swayam, Ekta Kapoor seems to be continuing her fascination for pony tailed men. Remember Akashdeep Saigal, who's a big hit as Ansh Gujral in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? The grapevine says Armaan Kohli was being considered for the role that's now being offered to Sachin. If he does take up the assignment, will it spell a career shift for this guy who's a close buddy of the Band of Boys and has cut an album himself?
