MUMBAI: Sheezan Khan is one of the known actors on television and he rose to fame with his stint in Ali Baba as he was the main lead of the serial and his character was loved by the audience.
He couldn’t continue with the show due to the biggest controversy of his life, when he was arrested and put behind bars as his co–star and alleged ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma committed suicide on the sets of the show. Owing to this case, he spent almost two months in jail.
The moment he was out on bail, he was offered the show Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 13 and the actor became a part of the show.
Sheezan performed the stunts well and impressed Rohit Shetty and the audience. He went a long way in the game.
He also had a short cameo in COLORS show Chand Jalne Laga.
In a recent interview, Sheezan for the first time spoke about the details about his life during his stay in the jail and how he felt suicidal at one point as he had planned everything.
The actor said “When someone goes to jail and they are clueless about what they did, it’s the toughest phase. The food in the jail is only for you to survive or else you cannot bear it. I didn’t eat for 12 days as one cannot use the toilet. It's that bad. They used to be people who would come and threaten me that I won’t be free from here and will always remain here”
He further said “Those were the scariest times for me. After three attempts when my bail was rejected I decided to end my life as I didn’t want to live and thought it was the end. I had planned everything: how to do it, when to do it, everything. But then I thought about my mom, sister and younger brother. I thought mom wouldn’t be able to go ahead, my sister at that point would have moved on but my younger brother wouldn’t have he would have waited for me all his life and that time I realized I won’t commit suicide and I will fight the situation”
When told that he couldn’t post anything for late actress Tunisha, Sheezan said “I was told to sign a paper that I can’t post anything about her nor a picture, and hence couldn’t express my feelings. My brother’s birthday is on the 25th of December. I couldn't put anything in at that time. I felt bad as the other party celebrates their dog’s birthday and put it in the group, I felt bad that my family and me couldn’t do anything but they could”
Well, the actor has seen a lot during his stay in the jail and one can say he has come out as a strong person.
