Salman Yusuff Khan opens up on Jhalak controversy

Even before hitting our television screens, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, has been making news for many reasons. The recent one is that many contestants are apparently not happy with Salman Yusuff Khan being a part of Jhalak, as he has been associated with the series earlier as well. The entire hullaballoo started with Nora Fatehi stating to the media that it is indeed unfair to rope in Salman as his years of training celebs in Jhalak puts him in a better position. Later on many other celebs also supported Nora’s claim. After much controversy Salman decided to open up and spoke to Tellychakkar.com about the entire development. Salman said, “I don’t really think that it is unfair. Earlier as well, dancers like Lauren Gottileb, Faisal Khan and Scarlett Johnson have been part of Jhalak, who are trained professionals. So, why my participation should be called unfair? If it is because of the fact that I have earlier been associated with the show then I would state that rest of the participants are stars in their own right whereas I have the skills and my hard work. These qualities are all that I have with me to sustain in the show.” Do you think Salman that being from a dance background helps you to be in an advantageous situation? Salman replied, “Not in a show where voting counts. To be honest any Salman Khan fan will go to watch his films even if critics give it a bad rating. Similarly all the celebs will get ample number of votes given their popularity.” All we hope Salman that you do really well in Jhalak.
