Birthdays are certainly very special as we are made to feel like the ‘king of the world.’ It's the day when the spotlight is exclusively on us.

But what if you and your co-star were born on the same date? Won't that make your birthday doubly special?

It’s Star Plus’ Tere Sheher Mein (Directors Kut Productions) male leads Rafi Malik and Dhruv Bhandari.

The dashing duo, who light up the screen with their good looks and brilliant performances, celebrate their birthdays on 13 July. 

When we asked Dhruv about the coincidence, he said, “Yes, we know about it. Whether it's fate or fluke, I don’t know but it is interesting. Last year, we were having our workshops in July when I had asked for a holiday to celebrate my birthday. When I was discussing about it with my production people, Rafi came up and said that it he was born on that date took!"

“I was taken aback initially, and so was he, but then we just smiled! It is a great thing and I feel we were somewhere meant to work together. We are different individuals but really bond well. And now you all know the secret! This year we would definitely have a bigger bash and celebrate it together,” added Dhruv.

Rafi remained unavailable to comment.
