Sarika Raina, a trained dancer is happy and excited as she gets her first big chance to perform on TV. 

Yes, Sarika who plays the role of Amrita in Colors popular weekend show, Naagin (Balaji Telefilms) will reprise two of Bollywood’s wonderful dancers, Mumtaz and Sridevi….

Says Sarika, “It is a privilege and honour to perform on their numbers. They are great dancers and beautiful actresses of our Bollywood industry. I am excited and nervous as I get ready for the shoot today.”

A classical dancer, with a M.A. degree in Kathak, Sarika believes that her teachings will help her perform at ease. 

While the popular number of Mumtaz is yet not decided (at the time of filing the story), Sarika will dance on the evergreen ‘Main Teri Dushman’ song of Sridevi. 

Dedicating her performance to Sridevi herself, Sarika states, “I have seen videos of Sridevi’s dance from the movie Nagina. I have watched every nuance of hers, starting from the body language to mannerisms. The rest is what my choreographer will ask me to do.”

Talking about the track, the upcoming story line in Naagin will see the entire family celebrating the birthday of Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) in style.

The makers plan a grand episode, with performances coming from everyone. And Amrita’s performance will be one such power-packed dance number lined up for the episode..
