Life OK's show "Shapath: Supercops Vs Supervillains" has been revamped and will now be called "Khunkhar - Super Cops Vs Super Villains"

The show will be a finite series of an impossible horror love story of a werewolf and a vampire woman.

B.P. Singh of Fireworks Productions, the banner behind the show, says they wanted to give a completely fresh storyline to the audience.

"The story is fresh but not too far away from the subjects which our loyal 'Shapath' audience is used to. That led us to a thought, 'Why not do a love story which is laced with horror?' There are many titles and words available for a love story but not many for a horror love story," Singh told IANS.

"'Khunkhar' projects our story correctly. It is such a powerful word that it evokes many thoughts simultaneously. The moment you hear 'khunkhar', many different visuals crop up in front of your eyes like a powerful man who loves a woman but is ‘khunkhar' or a ‘beast' who has a human side, or a king who is ‘khunkhar', but is benevolent.

"You also visualise many beautiful women around these powerful characters," he added.

The lead actor roped in for the show is Harshad Arora who will portray the role of Jai.
