In the upcoming episodes, we see that after the police arrive Malishka creates a scene and asks them to arrest Lakshmi and Lakshmi tries to defend herself and tell the police officers that she did not steal the necklace and doesn't know how it ended up in her bag.
Malishka then proceeds to blame Lakshmi and wants her to get arrested but at the same time Rishi steps up and takes the blames for stealing the necklace and when Malishka says that he is lying, Rishi turns the table on Malishka and says that she stole the necklace.
Malishka confronts Lakshmi about her feelings for Rishi, and Lakshmi says she doesn't love Rishi anymore and Rishi is heartbroken over this!
