Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively informed that Channel V’s popular show Million Dollar Girl is all set to go off air.
The Beyond Dreams Entertainment project that projected the tale of a young girl Avanti who based in Banaras dreams of reaching Paris as a renowned fashion entrepreneur.
Starring Sharmin Kazi and Vikram Chauhan, the show saw a replacement with Sana Amin Sheikh stepping into Sharmin’s shoes.
Tellychakkar.com had reported about Sana’s falling health becoming a cause of concern for the team. Though a track was brought in wherein Avanti was to slip into coma, the makers were not keen to drag the show without the lead though the show has been doing pretty well.
Shared a source, “Discussions were on with the creatives and the channel for quite some time. Finally they zeroed upon the decision to end the show logically rather than going berserk with the track.”
Source added that the actors were informed about the decision leaving them all disappointed and sad.
With the team wrapping up shoot today (30 May), the producers have organised a thanksgiving party for the team in the evening. The show will go off air sometime next month.
Now coming to the climax track, here is what will transpire leading to the happy ending.
In a bid to take revenge from Virat, Zubair (Mayank Gandhi) would want to kill Avanti. The police would arrive in time and arrest him. Avanti who would recuperate will be seen getting engaged to Virat in the hospital.
An actor in account of anonymity confirmed the news.
Producer Yash A Patnaik confirmed the show’s departure but asked us to call later.
We also dropped a text message to Lavanya Anand, Content Head of Channel V, but did not get a revert till the time of filing the story.
As per information the channel is yet to decide on the replacement.
