MUMBAI: Television actors Palak Purswani and Avinash Sachdev’s relationship has hit a rough patch. The two, who got engaged earlier this year, have even unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Palak recently revealed, “There have been some misunderstandings between us and yes of late, it has been a rollercoaster ride. But we are trying to make things better. However, we are busy with our work commitments and hence haven’t really got that much time to sit and talk to each other."
She further adds, “All I can say is that right now we are taking some space off. There is a communication gap which we need to bridge."
Every relationship goes through ups and downs, she points out. "It is a part and parcel of life. We had a roka ceremony in January this year and our families are involved, so we cannot just take impromptu decisions. We cannot just one fine day say you go your way and I will go my way. There are so many things involved like our restaurant too which we opened when our Roka happened in January,” she says.
The pandemic has taken a toll on relationships in general, she feels.
“It has affected many relationships. We too are going through a rough phase, but I think we will overcome it. The lockdown and this entire period has taken a toll on everyone but I think life will come back to normal soon,” she signs off.
Avinash has been in shows like Balika Vadhu and Qubool Hai, while Palak is famous for her role in Ye Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
The love-struck couple also did the 9 th season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye in 2019 but couldn’t win it. The two love to travel too together and they often keep on posting pictures together.
