“She had been under the weather and had mild cold and cough. After getting high fever, she took the RT-PCR test yesterday. Her test result came out positive today and she has decided to self-isolate and be under home quarantine,” says the source.
Despite following all precautions, many TV actors and have been testing positive for the virus. This has led producers and directors to be creative and opt for tweaks to the story to keep the show going on. With Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain being one of the most watched shows, it remains to be seen how the makers will add a twist to the tale now.
Before coming to the TV industry, the actress shot for a shampoo brand ad for print. After marriage, she started her acting career in 2006, when producer Ekta Kapoor gave her a role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She was then seen in a lead role in Kasturi. She replaced Shilpa Shinde in popular sitcom Chidiya Ghar. Coincidentally, she again replaced her three years later, in April 2016, as Angoori Tiwari in the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! on &TV.
