MUMBAI: While on one hand the world is battling against the deadly Coronavirus, Indian netizens are fighting another battle - ban TikTok in India.
#BanTikToklnlndia has been heavily treading on Twitter. Tiktok star Faizal Siddiqui's account has been suspended after facing massive criticism and was accused of glorifying acid attack.
Along with common people, a lot of celebrities have expressed their views on banning the app.
Popular actor Siddharth Nigam, who is currently playing a lead in SAB TV’s Aladdin-Naam Toh Suna Hoga, doesn’t support the idea of banning TikTok.
Siddharth is also very active on the Tiktok advice to not ban but unfollow cringe creators. He tweeted, “Ban on any platform will not help, instead we should stop promoting/Entertaining cringe and Malafide content on any platform. At the end it's not only the content creator but the people who follow them are equally liable for entertaining such contents. #unfollowcringecreators.”
