MUMBAI : Every actor finds both similarities and differences with the characters they portray. Siddhi Sharma, the lead in Sun Neo’s new show Ishq Jabariya, recently shared how her role as Gulki mirrors aspects of her own personality. She feels that connecting deeply with her character enhances her performance.
Siddhi Sharma, who plays Gulki in Ishq Jabariya, revealed how she relates to her character, saying, “Gulki and I have a lot in common. Like her, I’m always chasing my goals and never backing down. She’s very playful and full of energy, which mirrors my own personality! She’s deeply passionate about her career and puts in a lot of hard work to achieve her goals, and I follow the same approach in my life. When Gulki faces obstacles, she stands her ground and never gives up. I aim to be just as strong and resilient as my character.”
She further added, “I really connect with Gulki’s protective nature towards her sister Niku, as I feel the same way about my twin sister, Riddhi. We share a strong, loving bond similar to the relationship between Gulki and Niku in Sun Neo's Ishq Jabariya. I admire Gulki’s bravery, determination, and optimism, and I aim to reflect those qualities in my own life.”
