Simple walks out of Kajjal!

Simple Kaul is one helluva choosy actor who wants nothing but the best in terms of roles. If not been given enough scope to deliver, Simple is actuated to call it quits! And that's what she did with her latest show, Kajjal (Sony) where she Simple Kaul: Time for serious work and a break! essays the character of a radio jockey. "My role of Niki, an RJ, turned out to be a regular negative character with nothing different to portray. I thought I'd lots to do but realized there wasn't much energy in the character and I wasn't happy with the way it shaped up hence I called it quits. The production house is very good and they didn't want meet to leave but they had no choice as I'd made up my mind," sighs Simple who has been a part of the show for the past three months and has two more weeks of shoot left in Kajjal. The Delhi born actor is traveling to the capital for three days to meet her family and take a much deserved break. Simple had started her career with Shararat and went on to do shows like Yeh Meri Life Hai, Twinkle Beauty Parlour and the recently wrapped up show, Aisa Des Hai Mera. For now she wants to categorically stay away from the typical saas-bahu roles and intends to do comedy which she enjoys the most as it involves less pressure!
