Celebs turned out in full force at the party thrown by Paritosh Painter and Nirav Parekh to celebrate the launch of their new projects- an English play See No Evil Hear No Evil Speak No Evil, a Hindi play Kya Kare Control Nahi Hota and a show on Zee Smile Home Sweet Home at Tian in suburban Mumbai on Tuesday.
The first ones to grace the dance floor were Shiela David, Paritosh and sisters Gauhar and Negar Khan, looking as stunning as ever. The siblings grabbed all the attention from the lensmen present at the party --- but the cake and the cherry was definitely taken by the effervescent Soha Ali Khan, who wafted in like a breath of fresh air in a cool cotton skirt and halter top and a cultivated dishevelled look!
Beaming producer Nirav Parekh was seen hugging known telly faces throughout the party - Hussain, Bakul Thakkar and Raju Kher, playing the perfect host throughout the evening.
Ashiesh Roy and wife were seen sharing special moments with one another, oblivious of the crowd around them.
It was a party that saw Paritosh's loyal theate buddies in full attendance --- Sumeet Raghavan, Sahil of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, veteran Paintal, funnyman Vrajesh Hirji, the effervescent Ninad Kamat, the garrulous Balwinder Singh, bubbly Ashiesh Roy, and the ever smiling Bakhtyar Irani who walked in with sis Delnaz Paul, her hubby Rajiv and brother-in-law Rakesh.
Spotted also were Soniya Kapoor in ravishing red, Deepshikha, who hung around with hubby Jeet Upendra and Rajesh 'Maddy' Khera. Also spotted was Siddhant's tough cop Ashwini Kalsekar in sexy black trousers and a floral print top, telling Sumeet that she spent the whole of Sunday watching the Mothers' Day special of Sarabhai… and had a blast!
The late entrants were Pooja Ghai, Swetta Keswani, looking as radiant as ever and Tisca Chopra, Gaurvav Gera and Rohit Roy.
It was also quite a surprise to see the BBC crew doing the rounds at the party, accompanied by Dolly Bindra in a really short green skirt, a far cry from the behenji type outfits that we are used to seeing her in on the telly.
This was one party that went on till the wee hours of the morning. One thing's for sure, the telly industry works hard…and definitely parties harder!
