Sneak peek into Dimple Jhangiani's secret birthday party

Dimple Jhangiani is really happy today. Why? Because it’s her birthday (yes...clap clap everyone). The gorgeous girl –who is currently a part of Life OK’s upcoming show Amrit Manthan (to air from 28 February 2012) – turned 25 today. And she had a rollicking girl’s day out last night (23 February) with her gang (10-15) of non industry friends (school, college and Chembur area, where she stays).
Dimple Jhangiani,
Dimple Jhangiani is really happy today. “I did not want to celebrate my birthday this year. But my friends organized a secret party for me at a farm house in Thane. Ideally, they would have not told me about it at all but since I am always busy shooting, they informed me a day in advance,” she shared with Tellychakkar.com. So how was the party? “It was superb, it was a page 3 theme so all the girls came in hot dresses and even I wore a colourful one piece with diamond work. We cut the clapboard-sized cake the moment the clock struck twelve. We danced and had fun all night,” smiled the birthday girl. However, amidst all the fun and frolic, Dimple – who debuted with Balaji’s Kuchh Is Tara (Sony) – dropped her Blackberry phone in the food. “It has completely gone for a toss. Hence, I have decided to gift myself a new Blackberry Torch. In today’s times, a BB (Blackberry) sometimes gets more important than your friends. Have we not seen situations where a group of friends are sitting together yet they all are busy on their respective phones?” Furthermore, ask her if she has any resolution for the coming year, she shoots back, “I will not repeat the mistake of leaving my career. I will now keeping working to the best of my ability and make a niche for myself.” Sounds great, lovely lady. Moving on, it was reported that she had agreed to stop entertaining fans on the small screen as her long time boyfriend’s parents were not in favour of her working. But then things between the couple went sour and they parted ways. However, since this a happy occasion, we will not dwell in the past and wish Dimple all the success in the coming year!!!
