Zee TV’s Amma (Salt Media) will see a ‘flashy’ new entry with noted actress Sonal Parihar coming in.
Sonal will add spice to the proceedings, and will form the third angle in the love story of Faisal (Ashmit Patel) and Rehana (Yuvika Chaudhary).
So who will Sonal play?
Well, Sonal will be the adopted daughter of Hannan (Meghna Naidu). Gazala, the glamorous girl will come in with the mind-set of trapping Faisal in her sweet-talk and lovable nature.
As per sources, “Gazala will be a very playful character, a complete entertainer. Though her aim will be to bring in misunderstandings between Faisal and Rehana, her trump card will be her sweet nature and the pleasing manner in which she would talk. Even if she will have to ridicule a person, she will do it with a smile.”
When contacted, Sonal confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have started shoot for Amma. It is a very different role, and I am enjoying playing it. When I was offered the role, I did not ask for a detailed briefing as I do always, and the only reason for this was Shabana Mam’s presence in the show. I felt if she is associated with this show, I need not give it a second thought.”
