Sony SAB’s Jijaji Chhat Par Hain introduces a new character, Lotey

MUMBAI: Sony SAB’s light-hearted comedy ‘Jijaji Chhat Par hain’ has kept its viewers hooked with the extremely hilarious events that unfold in the show. Adding to the drama and comedy, the show introduced a new character Lotey (Rajeev Pandey), Chhote’s (Yogesh Tripathi) brother. 

Lotey enters as a masseur, extremely slow and unwilling towards his profession. However, as he comes to stay with his brother Chhote, who owns a salon, he starts getting along with people of Chandni chowk and gives them massage. Although not good at his work, Murari (Anup Upadhyay) only tolerates Lotey because of his relation with Chhote and believes he will someday learn how to massage well. Little does anyone know that Lotey has his eyes on Pancham’s (Nikhil Khurana) job and wants to be a salesman at Murari’s shop. 

What twists come along in Lotey’s chase of Pancham’s job, will surely entertain the audiences. 

Talking about his quirky role, Rajeev Pandey said, “I have been associated with Sony SAB previously and it is an amazing feeling to be a part of the SAB family again. In Jijaji Chhat per Hain, I am essaying the role of Lotey, this character will bring some hilarious and unexpected turns in the future. It is so much fun shooting with the entire cast as all of them are so talented and hard working. As an audience, I have always loved watching Jijaji Chhat per Hain. I hope the viewers continue to give the same amount of love and affection to Lotey like they did for my other characters.”
